Law, IP and Startups in Health

Legal workshop by the Dutch Patent Office and ehvLINC

Why?

One of the biggest challenges startups face is developing a good legal strategy. As any other business, startups are in urgent need of proper and tailored legal help. From the very early stages of their existence they need to deal with issues such as shareholders’ agreements, protection of intellectual property, investment contracts, data protection, tax issues amongst others. We as The Dutch Patent Office and ehvLINC legal incubator for startups are aware of the fact that traditional legal support is often too costly for aspiring startups. That is why we developed programs to help startups with their legal structure and strategy in a way that fits their capacity and needs. To get an insight in how we can help you develop a sustainable legal framework, we organize the workshop: Law, IP and Startups in Health.

What?

During this workshop we give you insight into the legal challenges you as a startup might face in the near future. The Dutch Patent Office will analyse your current status regarding intellectual property and will help you in the process of thinking about what route to follow regarding your IP. ehvLINC will focus on business law issues that can arise in startups, whilst also highlighting key issues regarding data protection regulation. For us to make a good assessment of your startup before the workshop please register on time, so we can make a basic profile of your company before the workshop.
