Conference programme
Location: Radio Royaal - Ketelhuisplein 10, 5617 AE Eindhoven
14:00 - 14:30 Walk-in
14:30 - 16:30h Embassy of Health Conference
16:30 - 18:00h Networking drinks
In the first part of the conference, we will discuss new values and economic models for health. With, among others, Godelieve Spaas (lector New Economics, Avans University of Applied Sciences), Marieke Rietbergen (Design Innovation Group) and Dorine Baars (Verveeld & Verward), we examine the current values of financing our healthcare system. How do we shape alternative models that put vitality and health at the centre? How can design contribute to this transition process?
In a short interlude, led by Baltan Laboratories, we return to our bodies to feel the discussion.
We are steeped in the need to work together: within an organisation, between communities, institutions, sectors or even our planet. How do we create the conditions for collaboration now? How to embrace changes in roles in the long(er) term? Together with, among others, DesignLab Twente, GGD Brabant- Zuidoost and Kornelia Dimitrova (architect & social designer), we switch perspectives between the current context and a responsible future.
Marleen van Bergeijk (curator Embassy of Health) looks back with Elies Lemkes (member of the Provincial Executive of North Brabant) on what mindset contributes to moving towards a chronically healthy society. What adjustments are needed in our way of thinking, acting and cooperating?
